Low Port Bits

Low port horse bits are designed specifically for horses with sensitive mouths or those that have a low palate. These bits have a relatively small port (the raised area in the middle of the mouthpiece) that provides tongue relief and encourages the horse to relax and accept the bit. The low port reduces the pressure on the palate, making it more comfortable for the horse.
