I was looking for a light-weight saddle for trail riding. This saddle caught my eye, but not all of its great features were included in the product description. The description of saddle's dimensions and weight are accurate. It also has a very nice balanced ride (not the lazy boy position most western saddles put you in). What the description lacks is that there is a spinal channel under the saddle, so no spinal pressure on the horse. It also has an amazingly cushioned seat and stirrup pads. When sitting in the saddle, you feel very secure (even without a saddle horn). I am very impressed with the product and look forward to many happy miles with it. Everyone at Stagecoach West was excellent to deal with over the phone.
