Korsteel Full Cheek Dr Bristol
- Double jointed for lateral independence
- 5" mouthpiece with 6.5" cheeks
- Dr. Bristol flat center link
The Dr. Bristol link and the French link differ in several ways. The Dr. Bristol link is not a Dressage legal mouthpiece, the French link is. The main difference is that the French link sits at the same angle as the rest of the mouthpiece, while the Dr. Bristol sits at a different angle. The Dr. Bristol will rest across the horse's mouth until the horse comes against the bit at a certain angle, at which point, the edge of the Dr. Bristol center link will come against the tongue. This makes the mouthpiece a bit more corrective than a French link mouthpiece which typically stays flat against the tongue.
